My name is Paul Anstey I’m the owner and, editor of Costa Mesa Insider.com. I was born I England and moved to Orange County in the mid eighties yes I’m old it happens oh well to us all eventually.
I went to Huntington Beach and Edison High School and have mainly lived in Costa Mesa or Huntington Beach all that time. Since the mid eighties Costa Mesa and, the surrounding area has changed greatly somethings for the better and some for the worse but that is life.
For long time residents of Costa Mesa do you remember such things as Kona Lanes, Ice Capades, Fedco or the Mesa Theater on Newport Blvd. Okay enough nostalgia lets get to what the website is about.
Overview
First of all welcome to my website Costa Mesa Insider.com the City Of Costa Mesa is called City of the Arts because of its great cultural arts centers such as the Performing Arts Center, South Coast Reparatory and Segerstrom Hall but it is so much more. From the OC Event Center to world class shopping at South Coast Plaza, amazing restaurants and parks Costa Mesa really is a special place.
Costa Mesa is a great town but i think its time that it had its own voice hopefully this site can be that voice while also sharing news, reviews and, information about our great city. I have a full time job elsewhere as well as owning many websites hopefully at some point this website becomes big enough i can concentrate full time on this website and Costa Mesa news and information.
