August 18th 2022: The early figures are in but it looks like 1,055,173 people attended this year OC Fair. The 2022 edition of the OC Fair had 11 sold out days compared with last year when there were 16 sold old days.
Attendance was down a little from the 2021 edition of the OC Fair which had attendance of 1,055,770 but still good with the limits on daily attendance. Also requiring pre purchase of tickets ahead of time also affects attendance.
Limiting capacity seems to be popular with fairgoers although hopefully at some point people will be able to again buy tickets on the day of the visit until capacity. As they take down the rides and clean up after the OC Fair we can look forward to it being less than a year to its return.
