If you have the shopping urge and, maybe you have gotten your COVID shot after months of hibernation i do have some shopping news for you; South Coast Plaza has extended its hours as things get back to more normal. Now the huge shopping center is open Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 7 pm.
Yes you have to wear a mask and social distance into protocols are in place but at least its back to some as semblance of normal. The mall has over 245 stores and a total of 2,800,000 square feet of retail space making it one of the largest malls in the country so you should find something interesting.

You can celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year now through February 28th with South Coast Plaza. If you don’t want to head to mall yet you can watch free live performances on their website South Coast Plaza.com.
If you are ready to go to South Coast Plaza you can visit Jewel Court to check out their Year Of The Ox display for Chinese New Year. If you are hungry you can also go to one of the many restaurants at South Coast Plaza that has a special menu for the holiday.
A couple that sound good are duck dumplings at Knife Pleat or a place. i want to check out anyways the special Chinese Teatime at the Blue Box Cafe by Tiffany.
If you are not Chinese their is no reason you cannot celebrate New Years again especially as the last year wasn’t great for any of us.
