July 7th 2023: The Pacific Amphitheatre is an outdoor concert venue that has a seating capacity of approximately 8,500; This total includes both reserved and general admission sections. The venue also offers a mix of covered and uncovered seating, with the stage positioned at one end of the amphitheater.
The Pacific Amphitheater used to be open year round and compete with the former Irvine Meadows Amphitheater in Irvine for the top artist and bands.
The layout provides a great view of the stage from most seating areas, and there is also a large standing area in front of the stage for general admission shows. From the 1980’s onwards i saw a great many amazing performances here from artists such as Rod Stewart and, Gun’s N Roses.
Eventually sound complaints from the nearby neighbors got the Pacific Amphitheater closed for a while and then it reopened but only during the Orange County Fair. Currently the Pacific Amphitheater has concerts a little before the fair and a little bit after but i cannot see it returning to year round concerts again.
The venue is known for hosting a diverse range of musical acts, including rock, pop, country, and other genres. It has welcomed renowned artists and bands over the years, making it a popular destination for live music lovers in Southern California.

In addition to concerts, the Pacific Amphitheatre also hosts other events, such as comedy shows, cultural performances, and community events. During the annual Orange County Fair, which typically takes place in July and August, the amphitheater serves as one of the main entertainment venues for fairgoers.
