September 10th 2023: Breeze Airways has announced that they will pause its nonstop flight between John Wayne Airport to Orlando International Airport. The route has become known to many Disney fans as the Disney route because it links Walt Disney’s original theme park Disneyland with Walt Disney World in Florida.
The airline will pause service between October 3rd 2023 and February 14th 2024; The airline originally was going to pause service starting November 14th but moved the date up after John Wayne Airport asked all carriers to temporarily reduce their capacity through the end of the year.
Breeze Airways passengers who booked flights from October 3rd through November 14th will receive a full refund.
