No Burn Alert Through Friday In Costa Mesa

Feb 1st 2022: The South Coast Air Quality Management District has issued a no burn alert for Southern California including the residents of Orange County The announcement means that residents are advised not to burn anything in a fireplace or any indoors or outdoors through Friday. So it looks like that beach barbeque might have to delayed for the moment.

The restrictions also apply to manufactured logs as well as things such as paper and wax. The no burn day requirement are mandatory to protect residents when air pollution is due to be high. If you live above 3,000 feet you are exempt from this mandatory alert.
