September 12th 2022: Costa Mesa’s very own Chicago style pizza place Rance’s has just been ranked among the best in the nation by the Washington Post. The Washington Post analyzed 7.5 million Yelp reviews to see which regional styles of pizza got the highest reviews. The highest rated ones had at least 100 reviews and where a lot mentioned the style of pizza.
A total of nine Orange County pizza restaurants were rated amongst the highest in the nation but Rance’s was the only one in Costa Mesa on the list. If you haven’t checked out Rance’s in Costa Mesa its well worth checking out. The location is in the Target Center at Harbor and Baker, because its Chicago style pizza and, thick they warn you upfront that it takes a while to cook. One thing after eating Rance’s Chicago pizza is you won’t be hungry as its very filling.
