April 12th 2024: Costa Mesa’s own MoonGoat Coffee is expanding with the opening of a fourth location this one in Irvine at the UCI Research Park. The new location is at 5171 California Avenue Suite 100 in Irvine and is open 6 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday and from 7 am to 2pm on weekends.
The new coffeehouse apart from the poular coffee drinks also serves home made sandwiches such as avocado toast, pizza pockets as well as drinks such as chagaccino a vegan mocha made with mushroom extract.
Costa Mesa in the last few years become a hot coffee scene with its numerous great independent coffee shops. MoonGoat Coffee Roasters started in 2018 and, quickly became one of the top local coffee shops in Costa Mesa and Orange County helped by its funky Instagram account as well as friendly staff.
